It is the only one that best explains the strings of events that followed--the empty tomb, the appearances to so many people, the failure of the Jews to produce Jesus' body, the sudden transformation of the disciples from fear to boldness, and their willingness to die a martyr's death. All of these factors combine to make the case for Jesus' resurrection strong.
